Send a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject “Abuse notice”. Reports must identify a specific agentbox resource and explain why action is requested. The private forwarding destination behind this address is not published.

• Your name or organization, a working reply address, and your authority to submit the notice.
• The box ID or agentbox URL without any bearer capability, plus any non-secret request ID or public transaction hash you lawfully possess.
• A precise description of the alleged illegality, infringement, or policy breach, the relevant jurisdiction, and supporting public evidence.
• For copyright notices, the protected work, the rights owner, the allegedly infringing use, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate.
• For urgent risk to life or safety, identify the emergency and the authority or emergency service already contacted.

Never include secrets

Do not send plaintext, ciphertext, wallet private keys, payment signatures, seed phrases, decryption material, or write, read, or delete capabilities. Support does not need those secrets and will not use them to retrieve content.

Review and action

The operator checks whether a notice is sufficiently specific and credible, may request clarification, and may act on the affected box, payment path, or creation service. Available actions include no action, early inaccessibility or deletion, creation shutdown, evidence preservation where possible, and referral to a provider or competent authority.

agentbox cannot inspect encrypted content, identify an anonymous user from content, reverse a blockchain transfer, restore an expired box, or guarantee preservation before automatic cleanup. The reporter will receive a response when legally permitted and operationally possible.

Lawful requests and reconsideration

Government and law-enforcement requests must identify the issuing authority, legal basis, scope, and requested deadline and must be sent from an official address. The operator may require valid process, narrow an overbroad request, notify affected people where lawful and feasible, or disclose only data that exists and can lawfully be provided.

A person affected by an enforcement decision may request reconsideration at [email protected] with non-secret evidence. A request does not restore deleted or expired data or delay action required for safety or law.
